Secondlife Essentials

We have pretty much one, that would be SLink. SLink is a Company
in Secondlife that makes Mesh Hands, Feet, Heads, and most
recently Bodys. To us, the Feet are the most essential. Many
designers make appliers (HUD driven clothing or skin layers for
Mesh Parts) and Shoes designed and fitted only for the SLink
Feet. Many designers have moved away from SL system shoes and
have begun designing for SLink Feet so it is very easy to get
shoes for free. The investment into SLink is a good one to make
if you want to stay with the times. Not all parts are necessary
but all 3 of the shapes of feet are essentially a must. The
three shapes of feet are Flat, Mid, and High and of course with
the feet you will need to find skins that offer appliers for the
feet. Appliers are important to texture the feet to match the
mesh to the skin.

Before purchasing the SLink research skin places that provide
SLink appliers for the type of skin you wish to have. Be it
Fantasy, natural, demonic or anything inbetween. Great places
to look are stores like Glam Affair, Pink Fuel, Lure (Fantasy
Skins), Pumec, Essence, WoW Skins, and Belleza just to name a
few. The best thing to do is always do your research before you
invest. Putting in the leg work will allow you to spend less
money and get exactly what you are looking for.
